I come from a time when people did more things for themselves than they did buying things.
That means lots of hands-on experience at many things.

Especially if you lived on a farm or ranch, you had to be somewhat mechanical or you were doomed to failure.
So, experience at many things was common for a lot of people I knew and grew up with.
Building and fixing things and if you needed help, one or more of the neighbors would come to help.
A very close to self-sufficient lifestyle which a lot of people nowadays could not and would not do, but you don't miss things when they don't exist and there was always something to do, so boredom didn't enter the picture.
People got together for bigger projects like building a barn or a house and so the only cost was material and feeding the helpers.
The quality of work was also very high because people gave a damn. Nowadays, the quality of work and the material is questionable much of the time.
So, that's what this site is all about. You, building quality products with good quality plans and advice. People still like to buy quality and you can easily start a home business with the info on this site.
